How would you pronounce her name?
| The winery is Chateau St. Jean but don't try to get fancy when you say it. Just be a plain old American. Rhymes with "paint green." It's not too far from St. Francis on Highway 12 in Sonoma Valley. Very pretty grounds for picnics. Wines are nice if you don't mind a lot of oak. I think it was named for someone's sister, who apparently was a lovely person. |
