 THE ENTRANCE TO LAVA CAP is way up on Apple Hill outside of Placerville. A very pretty drive and nice place to have lunch! This photo was shot on a cloudy day in early spring, so doesn't quite do the view justice, but we enjoyed our picnic all the same. |
